Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. She is best known for her performance as Skyler White in the AMC television drama Breaking Bad for which she took home the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in A Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting during Preparatory School prior to her family's move to Ohio in the late 1970's. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre through Northwestern University. Anna began her professional career working in theatres of the Chicago area for several years. Her next move was to film and television. Anna's first major role was Arden on Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. At the beginning of 1990, she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons from the year 2000. In 2008, she was as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully and Deadwood were also part of her career. Gunn performed on stage in order to play the role of David Schwimmer in Sex With Strangers. Gunn played a part in the podcast's four-part audio drama called Numbered Days, which came out in 2022. The relationship that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler tends to be the central theme of the story that is told in Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and its eventual demise arguably reflecting the exact arc of Walter White's final days of his life.
